About Us
Ambrosi Cutlery started in 1930 by Giacomo Ambrosi in New York City. His son Leo continued the tradition and today it is owned and operated by Giacomo's grandson Robert Ambrosi and his two sons, Mark and Jason.
We are professionally trained knife sharpeners and pride ourselves on expert sharpening and a boat load of knowledge about professional cutlery and food cutting equipment.

Our training
All of our sharpening technicians undergo a rigorous training program and use state of the art sharpening equipment and techniques.
Our location
We are centrally located in the Hudson Valley Region in Mahopac, New York. We are a short drive from New York City, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
Our commercial knife sharpening service area includes:

- Fairfield County, CT
- Bergen County, NJ
- Dutchess County, NY
We use USDA and NSF approved knives.
